What happens on my first visit?
your first visit will last between 30-40 minutes. During this time the chiropractor/osteomyologist will take a full
case history,ask you to undress in order to examine you (including neurological and orthopaedic tests as necessary)
to ascertain the cause of your problem. It may be necessary to send you for x-rays or scans where needed.
What is chiropractic/osteomyology treatment?
are concerned with the framework of bones and muscles that support the body. Some problems can be caused by accidents, stress,
lack of exercise, poor posture, illness and everyday wear and tear.These may cause pressure on the nerves in the body.
Depending on your condition, the chiropractor/osteomyologist may manipulate parts of your spine or joints and give
you advice on exercise, self-help, diet and lifestyle. Some chiropractors/osteomyologists also offer rehabilitation programmes.
Manipulation involves precisely mobilising joints,allowing the joint to regain some increased motion.
